Work for Friday 28th June

Now that you have completed a time line on Fakebook, you should now produce a PowerPoint or Prezi   on the life of that person. All important landmarks in their life should be recorded. You should also include pictures of their inventions throughout the years.

When you write about their inventions, include details on new technologies that were included and new features that their designs offered. You could also include details of prices and how many items have been sold.

Fakebook Profiles

 

Continue with your Fakebook profiles but be sure to include the following:

• Videos or images from important dates in that person's life (eg the introduction of the first iPad)
• Ensure that the dates are correct on the timeline
• Include comments from 'friends' on your posts (Bill Gates may wish to mock the efforts of Steve Jobs and tell him why his products are better)

If Fakebook website is not working (or you cannot save your work on these computers) complete the timeline that you started on PowerPoint/PowToon and continue with your timelines on Friday.

Create a Timeline

I'd like you to create a timeline for one of the following:

• Games Consoles
• Mobile Phones
• Home Computers

At first I would like you to complete a basic timeline using Word or PowerPoint. Here's a good one on Games Consoles:

Then I'd like you to be a bit more ambitious and use PowToon to create a timeline story about the device you have chosen. This should include the following information:

• Dates
• Images
• New Features
