Once you have completed the Logo Review task, you should begin the 'Market Research' task that I presented to you at the start of the lesson. The PowerPoint presentation can be found by clicking on the link below:

Market Research Task

Once you have pasted your 3 designs onto your PowerPoint, you must complete some Market Research on your product. Here are some questions you may wish to consider:

• Which is your favourite design?
• Why?
• How much would you pay for your favourite design?
• Would you wear these as a fashion item or for sport?

Now you need to write 5 questions for your research (use mine or make some of your own). You must ask these questions to at least 5 members of the form (must be at least 1 boy and girl). You should make a note of their answers and then summarise the results on a final slide on your PowerPoint presentation.

 

Year 8: A History of Game Consoles

You are going to do a bit of research on Games Consoles and create your own timeline. Below are a couple of examples:

 

 

 

1.       Research using the internet and the links below

2.       Pick 5 consoles and the date they were released & create timeline

3.       You must include: DATE in large letters, A picture of the console and a small write up in your own words.

Year 7 - Walk this Way

This term, we will be completing a project where we design a pair of trainers. In addition to this, we will be designing a company logo, creating adverts for our product and slogans for our advertising campaign.

Take a screenshot of your completed quiz (by pressing 'PrtScr') and then paste it onto a Word document in your ICT folders.

Once you have completed the quizzes, use the sheet from Mr Bidwell to complete a review on different logos.
